Max Schaffelder

Max contributes to the development of effective AI risk management methods and the assessment of frontier AI companies’ safety practices. He holds a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, for which he did research on the impact of synthetic training data on the behavior of large language models. Max has also been active as an organizer for the Utrecht University group on AI safety, facilitating multiple introductory courses on the topic and leading a reading group.
