Ben Snodin

Ben is a Research Scientist leading SaferAI’s model evaluations work, designing and running AI model evaluations, and producing risk reports. Before joining SaferAI, he was a Research Engineer contracted with METR, where he ran evaluations for METR’s time horizon benchmark, and worked as a Project Manager at the UK AI Security Institute. He previously led the Existential Security team at Rethink Priorities and was a Senior Research Scholar at the Future of Humanity Institute, following five years in finance as a quantitative analyst. He holds a PhD in DNA nanotechnology from the University of Oxford.
